In Winter's Grip by Brenda Chapman sent more than one chill through me.  She so perfectly captures winter, in reality and metaphorically.  The bitterness, the harshness, the yearning for home and warmth and love.  And all wrapped in a terrific mystery.  Wear a sweater, set the fireplace, brew a cup of tea and enjoy this book.
